fashion-adda.in: the prelaunch collection
I organised a photoshoot with an old friend of mine on the 22nd Feb, 2014.
I am still researching a little on what kind of post processing I should keep for this, but here are the first results....

Update: the last few months....
1.
The slowdown:
We had to shut down our store for
a few months during the summer of 2013, due to very low revenue, and move to
just manufacturing. However, work caught up again at the very beginning of the
festive season, around fall 2013.
However, we were not doing retail
business for quite a good bit.
2.
The announcement for the online store.
We had the production line all set
up for raising a store, but a retail store in anyplace is no joke. Takes a
sizeable chunk of money to build and market something like that.
3.
The opening of fashionadda.in – the store and
boutique
We got back in retail in the 3rd
week of January 2014, and the store is starting to catch up with neighborhood
like wildfire.
The development of the online store is still struggling with minor issues, but we'll get there, soon ...

Angry rant : obstacle course to developing an online store...
Hi everyone,
I have been trying to get an online store developed for our little hibernating venture, in expectations that I might be able to stir things up, and hopefully, maybe get back in business, but the more I get closer to it, the more difficult it seems.
First, it took a long time to develop the whole concept of fashion-adda online store itself, then, when I thought I was ready, I started to look for someone who could put the website together. Every single one of my friends who could have helped me, made excuses and did not do it.
OK, I thought I should worry about that later, first I should get the clothes for the first collection done, so we have something to launch the website with. It took an eon for our great master to finish it, on account that he will get paid when the stuff gets sold. And, only a couple of them are what I asked for, everything else came out of his head, or some nondescript place I don't know about. So, I have a bunch of stuff ready to be sold, and a basic layout for the store. All I need is some to build the website for me...
Here's the shocker: an e-commerce website COSTS A BOMB TO BUILD! (The quotes I got were between $300 and $500!!) And now, I have to deal with this whole thing on my own... so the online store for fashion-adda may not materialize as soon as expected, as I have to spend the money on everything ALONE. And I am in college, which makes things somewhat tricky.
It's about to be 2:00 am, and I have to see the web designer in the evening today. Maybe he will be able to save the day, maybe not. But I will have my own online store in a few days, that I promise. I don't know what I will sell, but it will definitely not be the meaningless swill that so called wellvwishers want me to sell.
Until then, I am stuck with a blog, and a Facebook page.
